Backstreet’s back: Backstreet Boys and more fans will be back in town for this week’s first ever Adele One Night Only
Adele One Night Only: Lizzo, Melissa McCarthy and more among star-studded guests
This week will be chock-full of A-list sightings in London as the Olympic Park hosts its first ever Adele One Night Only.
These concerts are designed to support people living with and affected by dementia. The singer turned up to the first of these gigs in October 2014 in north London and announced that this year’s shows would support the Not Alone Appeal, which also included special guests Emma Bunton, Elvis Costello, David Baddiel and more.
For the second of this year’s two dates, as well as featuring Baddiel, Rufus Wainwright, Rishi Narang, Vic Mensa, Madness and more, guests will also include Michael McDonald, Melissa McCarthy, Toots and the Maytals, Mica Paris, Lorde, The Specials, The Roots, Mykki Blanco, Denise Richards, Natasha Bedingfield, Eartha Kitt, Susanne Daniels, DJ Fresh, and many more.
Adele will be performing outside in the park on Thursday 26 January, the first of her London residency shows. Other shows at London’s O2 Arena on 11 and 15 March will be open to anyone affected by dementia, but only those who volunteer on local committees or help those with dementia throughout London.
Tickets go on sale at 9am this Thursday at here, from 10am on Friday the 5th, and at 10am on Saturday the 6th.
