Taylor Swift has released a short film that fans believe is about her former boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.
In the film, Swift, 26, was seen dancing a few choreographed moves while sporting a red jumpsuit. The song, from Swift’s 2017 album, Reputation, was written about Gyllenhaal.
“Dance to what you wanna dance to, put your finger in your eye if you wanna, fire in your heart if you wanna, dig your own grave if you wanna. The guy that dances,” Swift sang on the track.
Gyllenhaal split from Swift in late 2013 after two years of dating. At the time, both musicians were nominated for a number of awards in the same category at the Grammys: song of the year and record of the year for their duet “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
Gyllenhaal, 32, has been married to Maggie Gyllenhaal since 2013, and the couple has a 5-year-old daughter, Elettra. The former couple did rekindle their relationship in 2016, but called it quits after two months.
The news of Swift’s video comes the same day as the release of “Look What You Made Me Do,” the first single from Swift’s upcoming album Reputation.
